Up-to-date information on disaster activity can be found by looking at the National Situation Report located within the FEMA site. Each state has an Emergency Management Agency. The Vermont Emergency Management web site and its Situation Report, is a good source of updates related to occurring or recent disasters that the state is recovering from. The site also has many useful links.
