The Blake Memorial Library in East Corinth received a $92,940 CDBG grant for accessibility modifications which included Interior modifications that allowed for ADA compliant access throughout the building including movement inside the building and new restrooms. TRORC staff assisted the Town and the Library Association in administering the grant to comply with state and federal requirements, including working with the historic preservation office to make sure accessibility modifications did not detract from this historic features of the library. 

Major improvements included removing a brick chimney, patching the metal roof, creating an airlock at the back of the building, enclosing the compressor for the heat pump system, new windows, new restrooms, increased movement (such as widening doorways) for ADA compliance, new staircase, removal of old heating systems, and the installation of efficient lighting fixtures.
