Construction of Granville Commons and Freeman’s Launch
4463 and 4401 Rt 100 North Town of Granville, Vermont
The Town of Granville is seeking sealed bids for the construction of 3.6 acre commons and river
launch public parcel located at 4463 & 4401 Rt 100 North. Bids are due, on paper only, to the
Granville Town Offices, 4157 Rte. 100, Granville, VT 05747 until 3:00 PM EST, March 1,
2017. Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud immediately after the specified closing time,
at the Granville Town Offices. The Selectboard can reject any and all bids at its sole discretion.
The project will include the following;
1.Remove and Dispose of asphalt & Debris (approximately 15 yards), add soil seed &
mulch
2.Tap Spring & extend line to Garden Area & Install Hydrant and shut-off valve
3.Boulder retrieved from 4814 Rt-100 driveway & positioned for sign attachment
4.Construction of one 5 space and one 2 space un-paved parking areas
5.Construction of 2 Rt-100 accesses per VTrans B-71 (Detail C)
6.Create a two step river access path
7.Procure and plant three 8-10 foot Maple trees (1 Acer rubrum, 2 Acer saccharum)
8.Procure and plant 30 blueberry shrubs
9.Remove one small apple tree stump

This project is funded with federal HUD CDBG Disaster Recovery funds and encourages all Minority Owned
Businesses, Women Owned Businesses, and Section 3 Businesses to submit bids. Davis Bacon construction
wage rates will apply. The selected contractor will be registered with www.SAM.gov and not be on the
Federal or State of Vermont debarment list. The Town of Granville is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
