The NADO Research Foundation has released the latest installment of its case study series, Lessons from the Storm: Case Studies on Economic Recovery and Resilience.  The series highlights how regional development organizations have addressed the impacts of natural disasters, built resilience to future events, and increased long-term economic competitiveness and quality of life within their regions.  The newest case study, available here, describes how the Two Rivers-Ottauquechee Regional Commission helped identify critical infrastructure damage, buyout flood prone properties, and incorporate sustainability and economic resilience into ongoing planning efforts throughout the region.
