The Agency of Natural Resources released its new Vermont Clean Water Initiative report earlier this week, outlining a series of priority actions that need to be taken to improve water quality throughout the state, along with funding opportunity recommendations. This report satisfies long-standing requirements to address pollution control in the Lake Champlain basin, set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, which serves as a model for water quality efforts that will be applied across Vermont.
