TRORC will be applying for EPA Brownfields Assessment funding to identify, select and assess properties in the region that may be contaminated. The goal of the activity will be to bring properties back into productive and safe use. Projects that protect water quality and improve downtowns and villages are a particular focus. Targeted communities include Bethel, Bradford, Hartford, Sharon, Randolph and Royalton. An application is being developed and public comment on the application, as well as use of funds if granted, are welcome.
