Renewable Energy 2014 (RE 2014) is Vermont’s annual convention bringing together key players in the clean energy sector. This year’s conference highlights current energy challenges, Vermont’s leadership role in the energy industry, and the steps needed to implement an integrated energy infrastructure. RE2014 will be held on October 16 & 17 at the Sheraton Hotel & Conference Center in Burlington, VT.

Now in its 4th year, the Woodstock Digital Media is established as a unique event where an extraordinary group of innovators from across the country, representing diverse fields backgrounds, come together to share their public interest work with each other and with the public.
The beautiful setting of Woodstock, Vermont, provides the backdrop to a day of keynote talks, hands-on workshops, and informal gatherings.

Join the Vermont Environmental Consortium and Vermont Technical College for their conference discussing various components of the carbon cycle, including Big Bertha (VTC’s biodigester), the campus carbon footprint/food systems, and other renewable and sustainable practices conducted on site. The day will include site tours, and discussions for building more carbon conscious communities.
Join Vermont Housing Finance Agency and other sponsors, including TRORC, in forums on the biggest challenges and opportunities facing Vermont’s housing markets. This is an exceptional opportunity to network and hear presentations with other housing financers, advocates, developers, planners, tenants, and others. The GUVTU Regular Chapter Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, March 5th in the downstairs meeting room at The Norwich Inn in Norwich, VT. Ray Obar, an accomplished tier of salmon flies, will be presenting this month on a bit of history, common materials and patterns, and also providing a tying demo. Food and drink will be available for purchase (there will be a Norwich Inn server available to us).
