Invasive Plants: Preventing and Managing the Spread in Vermont’s Forest, December 16th 9:30am     REGISTER NOW

Invasive plants are an increasingly apparent problem for Vermont’s forests. The scope of the problem may seem overwhelming, but landowners and professionals, as well as communities, can take specific steps that have measurable impacts. This webinar will cover best practices in invasive plant management and provide you with resources to plan, map, and prioritize control efforts. We will also take a virtual tour of vtinvasives.org to highlight specific tools and resources available for practitioners. If you’ve ever had any questions about how to handle invasives in the understory, you won’t want to miss this webinar.

Presenter: Elizabeth Spinney, Invasive Plant Coordinator, VT Dept. Forests, Parks & Recreation
