Annual Vermont Conservation Summit @ Lake Morey Resort
Oct 22 all-day

Remember, the Association of Vermont Conservation Commissions is

hosting our annual Conservation Summit on Oct 22nd at Lake Morey

Resort on beautiful Lake Morey in Fairlee.

This year the theme is Celebrating PLACE.$BA We’ll be exploring

different aspects of this idea in presentations and discussions throughout the day.

Our keynote speaker, Walter Poleman has 25 years of experience

engaging communities in explorations of their town’s natural and

cultural history, through education and celebration. The PLACE program

has offered communities in-depth explorations of how their local

cultural and natural histories merge into the landscape we see today.

For concurrent sessions, we have a diverse array of exciting

opportunities, from ANR’s basic training$BA on Vermont’s Ecology and

Environment, to Perspectives on Effective Conservation Commission

leadership, as well as Partnering with Land Trusts and Starting a

Conservation Fund and several more!
