We invite you to join us for “Transforming Vermont’s Energy Future from the Ground Up: The 10th Annual Vermont Community Energy and Climate Action Conference”! REGISTER TODAY!

 

When: December 2, 2017 – 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m (registration starts at 8 a.m.)

Where: Lake Morey Resort – Fairlee, Vermont

 

The one day event  is aimed at inspiring, supporting and growing the statewide network of town energy committees and building the capacity and expertise of any Vermonter interested in helping the state meet its necessarily ambitious efficiency, renewable energy and climate change goals. Workshops will explore a wide range of topics, from Transforming Our Transportation System, Helping More Low-Income Earners Participate in the Clean Energy Transition, The Economic Opportunities of Climate Action and far more. Experts will also provide overviews on timely projects, policies, financial incentives and capacity building opportunities in Vermont.

 

This event offers unparalleled networking opportunities, exhibits from leading businesses and organizations, fantastic workshops, a keynote you don’t want to miss by Gina McCarthy, Former Environmental Protection Agency Administrator.
Register before November 26th to receive an Early-Bird Registration Special of $35. Beginning on November 27th, registration will increase to $45.00. Don’t delay!

A limited number of student registrations at $20.00 are available to current Vermont high school and college students on first-come basis. Registrations must be submitted by November 26th.

This is an outreach meeting on new statutory requirements surrounding forest blocks and habitat connectors. TRORC is in the process of updating their Regional Plan to include these new requirements and are also revising the Natural Resources Chapter.
