Annual Meeting
TRORC 2019 Scholarship Program
All application materials must be received by 5/17/2019 before 4:30 pm. We are proud to encourage and recognize local high school students pursuing career and life choices consistent with the vision and values of vibrant and sustainable communities.

A mediator guides difficult discussions, encouraging people to find a satisfactory outcome. Mediation can help resolve disputes among co-workers, neighbors, landlords and tenants, business partners, or business owners and clients.
All Town Officials are invited to join Julian Portilla from Champlain College to learn and practice skills in:
-Identifying and framing issues
-Listening for interests
-Controlling the process
-Helping disputants solve problems
-Finalizing agreements
-Handling special problems in mediation

Join Rebecca Sanborn Stone of Community Workshop to learn about creative ways to increase more diverse and meaningful public engagement. All Chairs, Commissioners, and Town Officials are invited. Topics include:
-Focusing your available time more effectively to expand feedback.
-Using gathering locations and social networks to magnify your time.
-Telling stories to frame messages that are meaningful to your audience.
-Thinking differently about what success means.
Come share your triumphs and challenges, exchange ideas, and launch your work.

Notice is hereby given by the Two Rivers-Ottauquechee Regional Commission of two Public Hearings to be held for the purpose of hearing comments on the proposed amendments to the Two Rivers-Ottauquechee Regional Plan. The Regional Plan covers all lands within the towns of Barnard, Bethel, Bradford, Braintree, Bridgewater, Brookfield, Chelsea, Corinth, Fairlee, Granville, Hancock, Hartford, Hartland, Newbury, Norwich, Pittsfield, Plymouth, Pomfret, Randolph, Rochester, Royalton, Sharon, Stockbridge, Strafford, Thetford, Topsham, Tunbridge, Vershire, West Fairlee, and Woodstock. A copy of the proposed amendments to the Two Rivers-Ottauquechee Regional Plan are available for review at the Two Rivers-Ottauquechee Regional Commission’s office during normal business hours and on the Two Rivers-Ottauquechee Regional Commission’s website: http://www.trorc.org/trorc-regional-plan/.
