Hartford Energy Committee invites you:

ENERGIZE UV FREE Workshops on Saturday, 4/6/2024!

Register for one or all the workshops.  Don’t delay.  There is a limit of 20 people per workshop.

Free lunch for those who register.

1. 10:00-12:00 Home Heat Transfer: How does insulation and air sealing save energy and money while keeping our homes warmer?  Come and explore the hands-on science of heat and look at consumer options with VEEP (Vermont Energy Education Program) and a local energy expert. 
2. 12:00-1:00 Lunch with Energy Experts. 
3. 1:00-3:00 Home Electrification: How will electrifying your home be better for your wallet, and for the environment?  What areas of your home can you electrify?  What can we gain through efficiency? 

A hands-on workshop including a look at consumer options with VEEP (Vermont Energy Education Program) and a local energy expert.

Notice is hereby given by the Two Rivers-Ottauquechee Regional Commission of a Public Hearing for the purpose of hearing comments regarding Town Plan approvals and Planning Effort Confirmation for Barnard and Newbury pursuant to 24 V.S.A. Sections 4350.  The Hearing will be held at 6:30 p.m. on May 22^nd at the Thompson Senior Center, Conference Room 2^nd floor, 99 Senior Lane, Woodstock, VT.

Immediately following the Public Hearing, TRORC will hold a Public Hearing for the purpose of taking comments on requests for a Determination of Energy Compliance pursuant to 24 V.S.A., Section 4352 for the Barnard Town Plan and the Newbury Town Plan.

The Two Rivers-Ottauquechee Regional Commission has proposed that Town of Barnard and the Town of Newbury have met the requirements of Town Plan approval, confirmation and enhanced energy planning requirements and shall issue a Determination of Energy Compliance to each Town.
