This project includes the removal and replacement of the concrete deck, wingwalls and associated roadway work of Bridge No. 62A. Additionally, Bridge 62A and Bridge 66 will be repainted on the existing steel members.
The allowable bridge closure period for Bridge 62A is 26 consecutive calendar days between July 8th and August 22nd, 2014. During the bridge closure period, the contractor will be allowed to work 7 days per week, including holidays. Portable message signs will be placed near Bridge 62A, and they will post the exact dates of closure once determined by the contractor. Night work (9:00 pm to 6:00 am) is allowed, and has a noise restriction of 75 decibels.
