Rita will review what projects are in application for the region.

The next TAC meeting is Thursday May 12, 2016 9:30AM at the Brookfield First Congregational Church (Exit 4 Randolph, take VT66 E past VTC, take left onto Ridge Rd until you hit VT65 and see the white church on the corner). Attached are meeting agenda and minutes from last meeting. We’ll be electing Chair and Vice Chair and a quick check on Bylaws in case anyone has something to bring up.

Michael will present in further detail on the new Municipal Roads General Permit, while simultaneously educating municipal leaders about the problems that this permit intends to alleviate.
4. FY’18 District Leveling Prioritization – Rita (20 mins)
TRORC is asked to prioritized identified pavement leveling segments on State Highways put forth from VTrans Maintenance Districts. Rita working on map to present as this task was released a week ago.
5. VTransparency – Rita (20 mins)
Rita will showcase the VTransparency website for all your transportation questions related to town projects.

Vermont’s Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) is a framework to guide transportation decision-making and investments over the next 20 years. Dave will present the Statewide Survey and Existing Conditions & Future Trends findings, solicit TAC feedback regarding current and projected conditions and trends in transportation, and hear about regional issues and priorities.

3. VTrans Project Prioritization and Project Selection – Revamping Efforts (VPSP2) – Rita
VTrans is revising its existing system to prioritize transportation projects using
performance management and data analysis based on the condition of the
transportation system. Rita will discuss with the group what VTrans is reviewing on project criteria. Rita will also review how TRORC currently ranks projects and how the new process will be envisioned.
