www.UVEVexpo.org – Pre-register online for a chance to win $250 and other prizes
Hosted by Vital Communities and Upper Valley Sierra Club, with support from many Upper Valley energy committees, electric vehicle owners, and generous local sponsors. This event is part of National Drive Electric Week.
Free test rides all afternoon (12-4 pm) in many of the latest electric car models (Chevy Volt, Tesla Model S, Nissan Leaf, BMW i3, and more). This is a great chance to chat with local electric vehicle owners about what it’s really like to go electric in the Upper Valley.
It’s not just cars! Several electric bicycles will be available for test rides along the Wilder bike path. Electric motorcycles, the Dartmouth electric race car, and a collection of modern electric lawn equipment will also be on display.
As if the cars and bikes weren’t enough, there will also be brief, drop-in presentations from 1-3 pm, and many local energy companies on hand to talk with visitors about solar, energy efficiency, heat pumps, modern wood heat, and more.
