Dear Stakeholders and Supporters of the Creative Economy,
The Two Rivers-Ottauquechee Regional Commission (TRORC) on behalf of the East Central Vermont Economic Development District (ECVEDD), is undertaking a study of the economic entities and individuals in the region that (a) produce creative products and services or (b) support creative enterprises. Our goal is to identify actions that will build on the District’s creative businesses and assets to expand economic opportunities, create wealth, and improve the quality of life in the region.
To do this, we are gathering information not typically available from existing sources about creative businesses and freelancers. We ask that you complete this relatively short survey of questions but also forward this email and survey to other artists, musicians, performers, architects, designers, writers, publishers, furniture and fashion producers, specialty food producers, etc. in the ECVEDD region. We expect that the aggregated results will help us identify actions and policies that will ultimately strengthen the ECVEDD’s creative economy.
