- DEMHS General Registration form attached.
- Attach a copy of your ICS 100 Certificate of Completion to meet the prerequisite.
- Scan both documents to Homeland Security Training Coordinator at [email protected].

A day of workshops and technical assistance for Vermont’s local officials

The Vermont Agency of Natural Resources, in cooperation with the Vermont Agency of Transportation and the Vermont Agency of Commerce and Community Development will be hosting Municipal Day on September 9, 2016 at the National Life Building in montpelier, VT. Registration will begin in June 2016.
What is it?
The all-day event will offer poster presentations, workshops, technical assistance, and the opportunity to engage with Agency staff members and municipal colleagues from across the state. More information about presentation and workshop content will be coming soon.

The CRJC Mt Ascutney Subcommittee is once again organizing a free Septic System Workshop for homeowners. The feedback from past years was super positive. This year’s workshop will be held on September 17 from 10 to 12 in Springfield Vt.
The NEARC Fall Conference is not just for the GIS faithful. Yes, NEARC is for GIS practitioners, but NEARC is for anyone who wants to see the value GIS technology brings to their own environment and the world. This conference is very valuable for new users as well as those who have been using GIS for many years.
If you are going to attend NEARC this fall, you might consider also bringing along your Supervisor, Town Manager, DPW Director, IT Director, and your Finance Manager; anyone who would benefit from seeing the value of GIS first hand. You will absolutely walk away saying “NEARC is worth every penny!”
